Teaching Staff
With a staff of close to 2,000 people, JXUST has high quality educators with a high academic skill level working within a reliable structure. This includes 360 full-time teachers and 520 teachers with doctoral degree.
Educational Reform

Innovation & Entrepreneurship
The university attaches great importance to the innovation and entrepreneurship education of students, and has achieved remarkable results. During an inspection tour of the university in September 2016, Her Excellency Madame Liu Yandong, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of China, enthusiastically praised the university’s work to include innovation and entrepreneurship as part of the education goals. In 2017, JXUST was listed in the Top 50 National Model Universities for Innovation & Entrepreneurship.

Achievements and Awards
Students of JXUST have won more than 30 prizes in national competitions, including prizes in the National Undergraduate Electronic Design Contest, the Mechanical Innovation Design Competition, Mathematical Modeling Contest, a Business Plan Competition, a Robotics Competition, and other such prestigious events. The school aerobics team has won nearly 100 national championships and was invited to perform in the 2008 Beijing Olympics as the Champion Team. The school’s rock-climbing team has gained 21 championships – including winning the International Climbing Master Tournament, IFSC Climbing World Cup and National Climbing Championship – and in the process of winning, has broken several world records for climbing speed.
