Upon a series of online reviews and on-site oral defense, the Department of Earth Sciences, the National Natural Science Fund of China, granted a research fund of 650,000 Yuan to Professor Luo Xianping for his innovative research in a scientific project, Synergistic enhancement of occurrence characteristics and leaching separation for ion-adsorption rare earths. The year of 2020 saw the granting of 52 national funds, which fully testified the state-of-the-art research strengths of JXUST faculty in the field of non-ferrous metal engineering, in particular rare earths.
