On the morning of Nov. 11st, the opening ceremony of the school sports meeting was staged in the Sanjiang Campus of JXUST. The administration team, together with the 30,000 faculty and students, attended the ceremony. The participants chanted the national anthem, “March of the Volunteers” at the flag raising ceremony. Vice president Li Guojing, representatives of athletes and referees delivered speeches to the opening ceremony. After that, Professor Yang Bin, chair of the governance council of JXUST, ceremoniously cut a piece of ribbon, declaring the games open. The sports meeting last three days.
