On the occasion of the 112th International Women’s Day (March 8), the Confucius Institute at Punjab University (CIPU) organized an academic forum on “China-Pakistan Relations and the Social status of Women in the New era”, and carried out activities to showcase the elements of Chinese traditional culture on Sunday. Awards and gifts were presented to women who had made outstanding contributions to the promotion of Chinese culture. After the academic forum, the works with Chinese cultural elements of the ladies of CIPU were displayed, including Chinese paper-cut, calligraphy, traditional Chinese painting, tea art, etc., and awards and gifts were presented to women who had made outstanding contributions to promoting Chinese culture.
