On the morning of Dec. 10th, the 3rd congress of Sichuan Alumni Association was held in Chengdu, the capital city of Sichuan Province. Professor Wen Herui, president of JXUST, delivered an on-line speech to the congress. In his speech, Wen that the each and every achievement of JXUST can't be separated from the hard work and assistance of every alumnus, and that the alumni association played a very important role as a bridge.The convention of Sichuan Alumni Association marks a new chapter, Wen added.
Mr. Wu Jianjun, president of Nengtou New Energy Research Institute was elected as director of the alumni association. Wu said that the growth of Sichuan Alumni Association was impossible without the support of alma mater. The new council will continue to deepen and strengthen its ties with the alma mater, and contribute to its development, Wu added.
