Between Aug 31st and Sep. 2nd, professor Yang Bin, Secretary of the CPC JXUST Committee, traveled Southwest China’s Kunming city for a meeting with alumni. On the afternoon of Sep. 1st, Yang chaired the alumni meeting, which was attended by alumni from various places of Yunnan province.
He introduced the development of JXUST in recent years from the following aspects: academic discipline construction, multi-campus pattern, national-level research platform construction, and student admission. He added that JXUST would share the development achievements with alumni and share resources.
On the morning of September 2nd, Yang Bin visited China Copper Co., Ltd., and conducted an exchange discussion with the company managers. Yang pointed out that the academic disciplines are highly compatible with the business scope of CCC on the basis of the favorable cooperation foundation. The two sides hoped to establish closer ties, expand cooperation space in terms of student introduction, professional training and upgrading the transformation of scientific and technological innovations.
