On Jan. 6th, Mr. Wan Guangming, Governor of Jiangxi Provincial Science and Technology Administration, visits the Ganzhou Campus of JXUST. Dr. Luo Sihai, Chair of the university Council introduced the development of the school from the following two aspects: the first is the close combination between scientific research and abundant regional resources of tungsten and rare earths; the second is the school’s great contribution to regional development.
Mr. Wan also put forward his insights on upgrading the research endeavor. During the investigation, Wan Guangming and his entourage visited the major labs of JXUST, including Maglev Rail Transit System, Research Institute for Rare Earth Green Extraction, and Jiangxi provincial key laboratory for power batteries and materials.
