On Oct. 20th, Mr. Luo Xiaoyun, deputy governor of Jiangxi Province, visited the Ganzhou Campus of JXUST. Around 1 pm, Mr. Luo, together with his entourage, arrived at the permanent magnet maglev track technology test line. Professor Yang Bin, chair of the university council, introduced the features, for example, principles, composition, advantages and application prospects, of the cutting-edge facility. As the first permanent magnet levitation rail transit system in China, it achieved "zero power" levitation and intelligent operation, professor Yang added. Then, the deputy governor visited the Engineering Research Institute. The researchers showed the guests around the Key Laboratory of Power Batteries and Materials and National Engineering Research Center for Copper Smelting and Processing.
