According to the notice issued by Jiangxi Provincial Education Administration, the Key Laboratory for Efficient Development and Utilization of Rare Metal Resources sponsored by Jiangxi University of Science and Technology was approved as a national technology innovation platform. In light of the industrial layout for rare metal resources of China, the lab investigates rare metals from the following four perspectives, i.e., efficient mining and procession, green metallurgy, manufacturing technology of key metallic materials, environmental treatment and ecological restoration. The authorization as a national innovation platform will definitely facilitate the development of the lab.
