A national competition of cheerleading gymnastics wrapped up in Anshun, which is located in Western China’s Guizhou province, students of JXUST got three gold medals. The moves in cheerleading are usually highly stylized, reflecting the latest in dance. Dances of the local Hakka people were mixed into the event. By combining the dances of the Hakka people with their cheerleading gymnastics, the team from JXUST achieved their debuts for the cheerleading with Chinese characteristics.
