On the afternoon of Sep. 24th, a delegation from Industrial Development Promotion Center, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, paid a working visit to the Ganzhou Campus of JXUST. Professor Yang Bin, Chair of the university council, held discussions with the distinguished guests.
Yang introduced the education and scientific strengths of the school in the past years. As the cradle of nonferrous metallurgy expertise, JXUST has established a complete discipline chain by focusing the application of rare earth, tungsten, copper and lithium, Yang added.
The development of industry is inseparable from the transformation of technological achievements of researchers. Local governments need to establish closer cooperative relations, and create high-quality platforms for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. At the meeting, experts from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology conducted in-depth exchanges in the aspects of permanent magnet suspension rail transit technology, lithium battery industry, and solid-state batteries.
