On Nov. 21st, a delegation of Prince of Songkla (PSU) arrived in Ganzhou and began their week-long visit in JXUST. On the morning of Nov. 23rd, professor Liu Chunfa, vice president of JXUST, met with the PSU delegates. Upon expressing his warm welcome to the guests, he briefed the exchange and cooperation of the two institutions. Miss Janya, assistant president of PSU, introduced the historical development, academic and research achievements of her school. Both parties agreed to enhance cooperation, strengthen exchanges for closer relations.
The management personnel of Graduate School, School of Economics and Management, School of Science, School of Foreign Languages, JXUST, attended the welcome ceremony. The symposium was presided over by Professor Deng Xiaoyu, director of the international exchange and cooperation department, JXUST.
Prince of Songkla University (PSU), established in 1967 as the first university in southern Thailand, consists of five campuses offering various programs of education consistent with the needs of their communities. Moreover, PSU also comprises 30 faculties, two hospitals, and more than 40 excellence and research centers, all committed to academic excellence, strong social responsibility, and active engagement in community services. The central aims of the university are to raise general education standards and support regional industry and development.
