On March 23rd, the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation framework agreement between JXUST and Western China Mining Group was held in the Sanjiang Campus. Professor Yang Bin, Chair of JXUST governance council, attended the ceremony.
Upon briefing the development of ZMG, Mr. Zou Laichang, ZMG president, extended a warm welcome to the leaders and guests attending the signing ceremony. Thanks to their long-standing and fruitful cooperation, there is a broad cooperation space in the fields of mining, dressing, metallurgy, strategies of carbon-emission peak and neutrality, new energy and new materials, Zou added.
Upon extending his sincere gratitude to WCMG for its long-term support for the development of JXUST, Yang Bin introduced the basic situation of JXUST from the following six aspects: comprehensive strength, academic discipline, personnel training, high-end talents, scientific innovation, and social service. Mr. Zhang Yongli, president of WCMG, noted that the two sides have laid a solid cooperation foundation in the efficient development of mineral resources, non-ferrous metal materials and intelligent manufacturing of new energy.
Both parties agreed to conduct extensive cooperation programs, including technological innovation platform, high-tech transfer, high-level talent introduction, entrepreneurial service platform construction, and expertise training.
