On the morning of July 14th, the opening ceremony of the 2024 "Chinese Bridge" summer camp for Pakistani students was held in Ganzhou Campus. A total of 20 Pakistani teachers and students from Punjab University, Lahore Engineering Management University, Alama Igbal Open University and Lahore Acheson College participated in the summer camp.
Gong Yaoteng, vice president of JXUST, Cai Jinbao, director of the Center for International Exchange and Cooperation, attended the ceremony. In his speech, Gong emphasized the great importance of China-Pak cooperation and exchanges. In addition to jointly establishing a Confucius Institute with Punjab University, JXUST maintained close and fruitful cooperation with research institutes and Chinese-funded enterprises in Pakistan, Gong added.
Speaking on behalf of the participants of the summer camp, Mohammed Wuma Ali said that he was very grateful to Jiangxi University of Science and Technology for its meticulous organization, which provided the campers with the opportunity to learn Chinese language and culture.
