On June 27th, the signing ceremony of jointly-funding the Institute of Nonferrous Metals and Advanced Materials Industry between JXUST and Fengcheng Munipal Government was held in Fengcheng. In the ceremony, Professor Yang Bin, president of governance council of JXUST, sincerely thanked Fengcheng Municipal People's Government for its support for the development of our school, and introduced the research strengths of JXUST.
According to the agreement, JXUST and Fengcheng would give full play to their respective advantages of resources and technologies to strengthen, supplement and extend the non-ferrous metals industry chain. Both sides agreed to make efforts to transform research achievements into new quality productivity.
Xu Jieqiang, secretary of the CPC Fengcheng committee, introduced the economic and social development of Fengcheng. He said that the research institute has grafted the "super brain" for Fengcheng's industrial development and it would also provide a steady stream of talent support and intellectual guarantee for Fengcheng's high-quality development. The two parties would carry out scientific research and technology transformation in three major areas: circular economy, new energy and new materials. In this way, the soft power of science and technology can be better transformed into the hard power of development. At the signing ceremony, Tang Yunzhi, vice president of JXUST, and Kuang Fengjuan, deputy mayor of fengcheng Municipal People's Government, signed the cooperation agreement.
