At the invitation of Prince of Songkla University (PSU), a delegation of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology visited paid a visit to Thailand in August. At the welcome ceremony on the morning of August 5th, Janya Chanchaichujit, assistant president of PSU, briefly introduced the history, development and research strengths. Then, Huang Zhifan, Vice President of JXUST, delivered a speech. He emphasized that the two parties should further strengthen staff cooperation and student exchange activities.
Through discussions with PSU researchers, the JXUST delegation gained a deep understanding of the working methods, professional settings and training modes of various colleges and departments of PSU. The delegates of JXUST participated in various cultural exchange courses and experience activities, including Thai language courses, Thai folk dances, Thai boxing, Thai traditional medicine, Thai traditional costumes and ornaments making, etc., and visited the Southern Thai Folk Museum, Songkhla Ancient City, and Heai Park. During this exchange, the teachers and students of PSU carried out extensive exchanges from management, academics and culture, which further consolidated the friendship between the two parties.
