On April 17, 2025, the launch ceremony of Ganzhou Intellectual Property Week event were held at Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, officially kicking off the city’s campaign for World Intellectual Property Day (April 26). The Municipal Intellectual Property Development Joint Conference Office provided updates on Ganzhou’s progress in building an IP-strong city and the development of a rare earth industry patent database.
Representing award-winning enterprises, Lvmeng Technology Co., Ltd. shared insights from its experience securing national patent honors. This was followed by the signing of patent technology transfer agreements between universities, research institutes, and enterprises, fostering industry-academia-research collaboration to commercialize academic innovations.

The Municipal Market Supervision Administration, alongside the Intermediate People’s Court, Public Security Bureau, Cultural, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau, and People’s Procuratorate, jointly released typical IP protection cases in Ganzhou, promoting public awareness through legal precedents.
The event also featured a “One Base, One Chain” roadshow for patent conversion in Ganzhou’s rare earth and non-ferrous metals sector. Three institutions—Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences Innovation Research Institute, and Central South University—presented high-potential projects, bridging collaboration between local industries and research entities to drive innovation in the rare earth industrial chain.
Coinciding with the 25th World Intellectual Property Day on April 26, Ganzhou will leverage this campaign to host IP training sessions, patent matching roadshows, expert consultations for enterprises, and court observation activities. These efforts aim to strengthen citywide coordination, multi-departmental synergy, and public engagement in fostering a culture of “respecting knowledge, championing innovation, upholding integrity, and ensuring fair competition” in intellectual property.
