Ten scientific and technological achievements from our university were honored at the recent Provincial Science and Technology Awards Ceremony held in Nanchang. The event was attended by provincial leaders, including Party Secretary Yin Hong, who delivered a speech, and Governor Ye Jianchun, who presided over the meeting.
Among the awardees was Yang Bin, Secretary of the Party Committee of our university, who received the First Prize for Invention alongside Academician Ge Shirong. In total, projects involving our university garnered 10 awards—three first prizes, six second prizes, and one youth award—maintaining our leading position among provincial universities in both total awards and top-tier achievements for multiple consecutive years.
Following the ceremony, award recipients expressed their commitment to advancing the province’s education-driven development strategy. They pledged to continue pursuing pioneering advances, enhancing innovation capabilities, and deepening the integration of scientific research with industrial applications, thereby bolstering high-quality growth across Jiangxi through sustained scientific and technological leadership.
