Jiangxi University of Science and Technology held a cooperation meeting with the Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) Jiangxi Branch on the afternoon of October 14, discussing ways to enhance financial services and support the university’s strategic development goals.
The meeting brought together leaders from both sides, including University Party Secretary Liu Zuwen and Huang Zhifan, Vice President of the university, as well as Li Chao, President of ABC Jiangxi Branch.
In his address, Liu Zuwen praised the bank’s long-standing role in upgrading campus infrastructure and improving financial services for faculty and students. Huang Zhifan outlined the university’s ambition to become a world-class institution in rare earth and critical mineral research, highlighting recent achievements in major scientific platforms. He thanked the bank for its strong support in campus digitization and financial operations, and proposed the establishment of a dedicated task force to facilitate long-term, flexible collaboration.
Li Chao reaffirmed ABC’s commitment to serving the real economy and supporting education. In response to the university’s needs, he pledged to optimize service efficiency, adopt more adaptable cooperation models, and ensure compliant yet agile financial support. “We will fully utilize our comprehensive financial strengths to help the university achieve its goal of becoming an internationally leading institution in its specialized fields,” Li stated.
