A delegation from the Corporate University of Russian Copper Company (RCC), led by its Rector Khafizov Airat Rinatovich, visited Jiangxi University of Science and Technology (JXUST) for in-depth discussions on industry-academia collaboration, global talent cultivation, and the development of corporate universities.
Vice President Xiong Zhihua warmly welcomed the guests and highlighted the university’s longstanding commitment to open education and partnerships with leading enterprises worldwide. He expressed JXUST’s strong interest in sharing expertise in talent development, curriculum design, and cooperative education, and looked forward to advancing practical collaboration in key areas such as critical mineral resources, faculty exchanges, and scientific innovation.
Rector Khafizov Airat Rinatovich expressed his gratitude for the hospitality and introduced the mission, development goals, and academic structure of RCC’s Corporate University. He emphasized his hope to expand cooperation with JXUST in talent training, research, and the integration of education with industry needs.
During the exchange session, both sides held productive talks on various key topics, including the operational models of corporate universities, curriculum design, faculty development, and mechanisms for evaluating teaching outcomes. These discussions laid a solid foundation for future cooperation.
Prior to the meeting, the Russian delegation toured the university’s history museum, library, and student dormitories, gaining deeper insight into JXUST’s development, cultural heritage, and campus environment.
