On the morning of January 2, 2025, the Spring Symposium for High-Level Talents and Young Faculty Representatives was successfully convened in Conference Room 2 of Lianxi Building at Sanjiang Campus. Yang Bin, Secretary of the University Party Committee, along with Vice Presidents Gong Yaoteng and Dong Bingyan, attended the meeting. Department heads, distinguished scholars, and young faculty representatives participated in person, while colleagues from Nanchang Campus and the Advanced Copper Industry School joined via video link. The event was chaired by Vice President Dong Bingyan.
Secretary Yang Bin extended sincere greetings to attendees, commending their exceptional contributions to teaching, research, and administration. He highlighted their professionalism, expertise, and proactive spirit. Emphasizing academic collaboration, disciplinary development, and talent service enhancement, Yang urged young faculty to clarify their roles, uphold perseverance and ethical standards, integrate personal growth with institutional advancement, and excel in talent cultivation. He directed university departments to address challenges faced by faculty promptly to drive operational excellence and elevate institutional competitiveness.
During the subsequent discussions, participants shared career insights, research directions, and actionable suggestions regarding disciplinary optimization, team-building, faculty development, scientific innovation, and administrative reforms.
