JXUST and Amur State University of Komsomolsk-na-Amure (KnASU) jointly hosted an online promotion seminar for the Sino-Russian undergraduate cooperative education program in Electronic Science and Technology. The event aimed to deepen inter-university collaboration, refine articulation mechanisms for master’s programs, and encourage outstanding undergraduates to pursue advanced studies in Russia. Attendees included Liu Xiping, Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation at JXUST, Dmitriev Eduard Anatolyevich, Rector of KnASU, as well as faculty representatives from both institutions.
In his opening remarks, Dean Liu Xiping expressed strong expectations and optimism for the partnership. He emphasized that the collaboration not only facilitates academic resource sharing but also serves as a bridge for cultural exchange between China and Russia. He highlighted the program’s potential to cultivate globally competent professionals through high-quality education. During the seminar, promotional videos and presentations on educational strengths were showcased to enhance mutual understanding and lay a solid foundation for future cooperation.
Rector Dmitriev Eduard Anatolyevich reviewed the history of collaboration between the two universities and acknowledged the phased achievements of the Electronic Science and Technology program. Deans from KnASU’s School of Energy, School of Energy Management, and School of Architecture provided detailed introductions to their respective disciplines, curriculum features, and graduate training frameworks, while also sharing cutting-edge academic developments.
The event concluded with an interactive session where prospective students from JXUST actively engaged with KnASU representatives, inquiring about enrollment procedures and demonstrating keen interest in pursuing studies in Russia.
This seminar established an efficient communication platform for faculty and students from both institutions, broadening the scope of collaboration. Moving forward, the two universities will leverage the cooperative education program to continuously refine talent cultivation models, contributing more internationalized professionals to the development of China-Russia relations in the new era.
